Where can i surrender my dog for free?

I know this is kinda off topic but i was wondering where i can surrender my dog, or where to call a shelter to have my dog killed or even give to someone who can take good care of him? I am a college student and we are having the worse winter I have ever had. My boyfriend left about a month ago and I'm trying to be good to myself and him at the same time. I went down to a shelter today and they told me that if I could get my dog in now, they'd hold him for a couple weeks. I can't afford a kennel and since I don't have a lot of money I was really not wanting to get him put to sleep.

If I went to a shelter they would have to put him to sleep or they would just put him to sleep once they got him there. If i brought him to a shelter I would have to make arrangements for feeding and making sure he was comfortable. So I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can call a shelter and surrender him for free or if anyone knows of any shelters that would accept an animal for free.

Here's what they told me when I brought him in:

"It is an extremely hot &, humid night in your area! If your kennel doesn't have a r conditioner and you'd like for us to let your dog out, please call us and give us your name and phone number. Thank you so much!"

Thanks i will keep this in mind when the weather gets bad agn in a few months. I was thinking if I surrendered him it would be temporary until i could afford a kennel or if it's going to be too big of an issue maybe I should just get him killed.

If it's free you just need to put the proper information out there and they'll pick him up for you. It's free because he doesn't have a home, so to speak. If you put the information out there, they will pick him up for you.

Thank you so much for all the help you gave me. I'm not quite ready for the shelter yet so I will keep looking for something. I went to a shelter last time and when i brought him in they told me he didn't have any identification. He is a very very precious boy.

If you go through petfinder, then you will see that some shelters will allow people to surrender their pet for free to them. It also takes time to find one that allows that. And I guess what you are saying is that you will just go to one with the least amount of hassle?

Here is an article about pet adoption:

"You may be able to find a new family member without leaving your couch. You can adopt a dog or cat from local shelters, but not just any animal.

“The right animal is a great way to help you de-stress and get a good night's sleep,” says Kate Woodson, director of the Humane Society of the United States' Companion Animal Protection Program. “The best way to help is by getting involved in a no-kill shelter.”

Most cities and towns have a few shelters where cats and dogs are taken in by volunteers. According to the National Council on Pet Population Studies, one of every four animals entering shelters are purebreds.

“You can find a dog or a cat very easily through this process, but people looking for puppies and kittens need to keep in mind that there are a lot more of those animals in shelters than people realize,” says Woodson.”

And I guess I am not saying that the shelters aren't going to ask you for a donation, I am saying that if you know of a no kill shelter, you can go and look for one to take the dog that you want. They are not going to know that your not giving them money, but you are telling them that you do not want it back.

If you are looking to spend money on a pet, then the no kill shelters would be a good place to look.

I would prefer that people give money so that the animal's life can be saved. It isn't fr to spend your money on something that isn't going to end up living out it's life with you.

I would also not be worried about the shelters asking for a donation. They are supposed to be doing that. It might not be the most efficient method, but it is a great way to make sure that a lot of people are getting adopted.

But most shelters will not allow you to adopt an animal directly from them. They will require a donation so that they can care for the animals at their shelter. However, that means you can actually care for them.

People are not making money off of buying and then returning a dog. It is still saving a life.

The best way to save an animal's life is to donate money to the shelter or no kill shelter that the animal came from, and donate food to a shelter or local shelter for the homeless. However, it is still a great idea to help a local shelter or no kill shelter.

If you decide to save money on a new puppy or kitten, do not buy from pet stores. There are better places to get a puppy or kitten that will work much better in your home.

I would never buy a pet from a pet store, unless they told me that it was from a shelter.
